Luxury Safari
Skip the long drives. Light aircraft fly you from Nairobi to the airstrips at Amboseli, the Maasai Mara and Samburu, so more of your time goes to game drives and the lodge. Every trip is private and planned around you.
Float over the Maasai Mara plains at sunrise, then land for a bush breakfast. Balloon rides are an optional extra and need booking ahead.

Ride across open plains beside zebra and giraffe with an experienced guide. Horse riding is arranged on request at selected lodges and conservancies, so tell us your riding experience when you ask.
Step out of the vehicle with a guide to follow tracks, read the bush and notice the small things a game drive misses. Walks take place in private conservancies and at selected lodges.
Meet a Maasai community, hear how they live alongside wildlife and see their songs and famous jumping dance. We include the village visit at no extra charge.
What is a fly-in safari?
A fly-in safari uses short flights in light aircraft between Nairobi and the parks instead of long road transfers. A flight to the Maasai Mara usually takes about an hour, while the drive can take five hours or more.
Which parks does the fly-in safari cover?
Our luxury fly-in safari links Amboseli, the Maasai Mara and Samburu. You fly between them, so each park gets more of your time.
Can I fly to the Maasai Mara from Nairobi?
Yes. Scheduled flights leave Nairobi for airstrips in the Maasai Mara. We book your seats, and your guide meets you at the airstrip for your first game drive.
What is included?
Your quote lists exactly what is included. It normally covers flights, airstrip transfers, stays at lodges or luxury tented camps, game drives with a guide and the meals set out in the quote. Balloon rides and similar activities are optional extras.
Can I customise my fly-in safari?
Yes. Tell us your dates, interests and budget. We can add nights, add activities, change parks or follow the safari with a beach stay.
How much luggage can I bring?
Light aircraft have strict baggage limits, usually around 15 kg per person in a soft bag. We confirm the exact limit for your flights before you travel.
Is a fly-in safari more expensive?
Yes, because of the flights. In return you save hours of driving and gain time in the parks. We can quote a road safari and a fly-in safari side by side so you can compare.
Tell us your dates and what you want to see, and we will send a tailored quote.
