Photographic Safari FAQs
What camera gear should I bring?

A zoom lens of 100-400 mm or longer works well for wildlife. Also bring spare batteries, extra memory cards, a lens cloth and a bean bag or small support for the vehicle window. Dust is common, so protect your gear.

Can we stay longer at a sighting?

Yes. Your safari is private, so you set the pace. Tell your guide what you want to photograph and they will position the vehicle for you.

Are drones allowed?

Drones need official permits and are not allowed in most parks. Please do not bring one without checking with us first.

When is the best time for photography?

The dry months, June to October, give open views and animals gathered near water. Early mornings and late afternoons give the best light all year.

Do I need to be an expert?

No. Beginners and professionals both enjoy this safari. Your guide can help you choose positions and timing.
